Finally, a book-free weekend!

The only thing depressing about this weekend was the outcome of the OU/UCLA football game. That's it. No other complaints. Sweety-kins even gave me a foot rub..with lotion!

My weekend began Friday at 5:00, the time that I finished my 8 hour long USMLE step 2. It's the 2nd test of 3 tests required to be a licensed physician. I studied 2 months for this test and it was a booger, but not as bad as step 1 was. Well, at least this time I didn't cry when I got home! Here's a timeline of how my day went:

6:30am: alarm goes off. Sadie meows at me, clearly irritated that I'm disturbing her by getting out of bed.

7:30am: show up at testing center, bleary eyed, with my bright orange test ticket that cost me $450.00..I can't afford to flunk this!

7:45am: start test
8:00am: yawn and look up, realizing there's a camera recording my every move, and hoping I didn't pick my nose. If that ain't pressure, what is?

9:30am: took a 7 minute break to get a drink of water and blow my nose
noon: took a 30 minute lunch break and 2 Advils for my baby headache
1:30: finished block 5 and realized the test consists of 8 blocks of 46 questions and not 7. ~deep sigh~

3:00pm: thoughts of a 7-11 Pepsi icy keep intruding
3:15pm: I really want an icy
3:30: gosh, I wish I had an icy. Instead, I have to answer a question that has 20 answer choices
3:45: okay, I'm starting my last block. As soon as I'm finished, I'm going to 7-11 to buy an icy.
5:00: left testing center and strategically planned my route to 7-11.
